- Henri Riviére -

- Henri Riviére -
the portrait which this book provides introduces us to a gentle man, yet one serious in his enthusiasms and formidable in his powers of study and concentration. he was exacting in his standards. from every indication he was a man of peace, avoided ill will toward others, and harmed no one . he did not seek fame and fortune; he pursued his objectives as ends in themselves. he pursued his objectives as ends in themselves. his life was a lide of observation, of thought, of study, and of artistic expression. he possessed and cultivated ,also, a gift for putting himself in harmony with a succession of friends. for them he delt deep loyalty , genuine affection, and close kinship.

nasty

can't not feel sleepy.
papa never complains about his work, though sometimes he utters fuck  when he has a bad night sleep.

i guess there are just two things could fix him, dessert and football. oh maybe including rice
during tutor time this morning, i had nothing to do 'cause he was totally focusing on counting,so i open the blank book the Anelects of confucious, it said, 知者不惑、仁者不憂、勇者不懼. none of these three items has been accomplished by myself. that's why i'm always being anxious.
mama always complains about her life, too often, too often, so no one would actually  listen to her .
what a weird family, i have to say.

à quel point sommes-nous artiste ?

Cher Hubert,

Inge Morath

Princess Troubetzkoy, in her costume as Prince Youssoupoff, sits in a sleigh with Countess Marina Cicogna. She appeared in a piece titled "Arrival of Prince Youssoupoff at the Court of Ivan the Terrible."
In the winter of 1955, Parisian high society buzzed in anticipation of a dance on ice to be performed by members of the royal houses of Europe. Inge Morath, 32 at the time, and a newly minted member of the Magnum photo agency, was assigned to cover the charity event, going behind the scenes to document the glamorous participants as they rehearsed for the gala evening. She shot 14 rolls in total, and the material was processed and distributed through the Magnum network, but never found its way into print.
