Kammerflimmer Kollektief Absencen

Over the course of four albums, German sextet Kammerflimmer Kollektief have woven mesmerizing instrumental Möbius strips, casually twisting and braiding various strands of ambient drones, free jazz, and moody, Angelo Badalamenti-like atmospherics into deceptively immovable, impenetrable knots. And though their latest work, Absencen, overturns few new stones, this thoughtfully organized album finds the extended group operating at peak levels of cohesion and features some of their most adventurously textured compositions to date.
One of the great band names of our times, Kammerflimmer Kollektief translates to "Shimmering Collective", and began its existence back in the late 90s as the one-man ambient project of composer and multi-instrumentalist Thomas Weber. The music contained on Absencen, however, has clearly been formed and fitted by more than one pair of hands, with several of tracks here co-written by harmonium player Heike Aumüller and one attributed to an improvisation by bassist Johannes Frisch.
The album's inclusive temperament extends to its instrumentation as well, with each of the Kollektief's members allowed an equal voice in the mix to give these pieces their rich, fluid density. On several tracks the group's sound is augmented by the exotic pedal steel flourishes of Trapist's Martin Siewert, an addition that joins with Heike Wendelin's violins to further lengthen the shadows of the group's already canyon-wide sound.
This combination is particularly potent on "Unstet (Für Jeffrey Lee Pierce)", an appropriately high and lonesome tribute to the late Gun Club leader that also blends harmonica and acoustic guitar into a stately, elegiac drone incorporating elements of the traditional tune "Shenandoah". Other such standouts include the brief, lovely "Hausen", which marries jazzy reeds to wistful country strains, and the opening "Lichterloh", a restless narrative that glides across acres of placid ambient swells before being rent asunder by D. Wurm's skronking saxophone blurts and Weber's space age keyboard effects.
Elsewhere, on such tracks as "Nachtwache, 15. September" the Kollektief does occasionally stumble through relatively uninspired passages of polite fusion, resulting in music that settles too cozily into the ranks of the merely pretty. Thankfully, such moments on Absencen are rare, and are outnumbered by the impressive likes of "Die Vögel Sangen Drauben Ihre Ungereimte," an epic closer featuring Weber and the rest of the group in full exploratory mode, as they forge ahead inquisitively, leaving an ever-shifting, endlessly fascinating array of discarded sounds in their wake.

Drivan - disko

Norway's Kim Hiorthøy is a graphic designer and musician, in that order. His album covers for Rune Grammofon and Smalltown Supersound are dynamic, striking, and original. But only that last quality really pertains to his streamlined folktronica, which blends snippets of live instrumentation and field recordings with hip-hop breakbeats. There's a thin line between elegantly simple and undercooked, and Hiorthøy often seems more like a loop-maker than a songwriter. His albums contain lots of neat ideas, but a repetitive guitar twang, a few atmospheric scribbles, and a boom-bap beat don't necessarily add up to a satisfying composition.
From his 2000 debut, Hei, to his most recent LP, 2007's My Last Day, Hiorthøy has resolutely pursued this formula, so it's great to see him trying something new. Drivan is a multinational collaborative project featuring Hiorthøy, Louise Peterhoff, Lisa Östberg (Sweden), and Kristiina Viiala (Finland). They all met while working together on a dance piece called The Potato Country by Gunilla Heiborn, for which Hiorthøy composed the music, and then decided to continue their collaboration as Drivan. Unfortunately, this new configuration doesn't seem to have inspired many fresh ideas. Dominated by Hiorthøy's signature loops, Disko is distinguished from his prior work only by Swedish vocals and a slightly more ramshackle feel.
With its brief and often repetitive tracks, Disko suffers from the same sense of incompletion that has dogged Hiorthøy's solo albums. The songs seem to run in place, often ending almost exactly where they began. Once you've heard the first 12 seconds of "Som en läderlapp", you've pretty much heard it all, other than a few flashes of something horn-like and an inevitable, blocky snare pattern near the end. This wouldn't be a problem if the guitar phrase that pinions the song were livelier, but it's dryly recorded and melodically flat. "Campingvagn" follows a nearly identical formula, though its melody is happily spiced up with syncopated breaks and handclaps.
But the vocals! Surely the vocals add something to the music, right? Unfortunately, not often: They seemed mismatched. The singing is all airy, drifting melody, with little texture or dynamic rhythm. Meanwhile, the music is melodically lax but full of texture and rhythm. Neither gives the other much to work with, and you'll be hard pressed to remember a single tune. The frustrating part is that there are flashes of excellence throughout, like when Hiorthøy seamlessly blends a limber guitar part into coiling trip-hop drums on "Inget mer sen". Even better is "Det gör ingenting", a techno-inspired track for piano and drums with a forceful developmental arc. It makes the rest of the album sound thinner and more shapeless by comparison. Hiorthøy is evidently capable of doing more with a good idea than documenting it, drawing out viable compositions that progress and grow. We're left wondering why he doesn't do so more often.

Confessions

At the end of the 2010, the Christmas eve,  liz and i planed to see the movie,Certified Copy , cast by Juliette Binoche. but sadly we didn't remember the correct running time, (we were late for about 10 minutes, it was really really unfortunate) so finally we check out the time table from the 3G cellphone, then went to the other theater to see "confessions".

I have to say that the way of film shooting was quite extraordinary,by using high speed photography in a lot of scenes, and by using intense spot light that makes the atmosphere be completely treacherous.

For adolescents, grouping attitude is wicked, which may lead the group to be evils, like a wave of humane consciousness. Everyone in the story was hurt, and they choose another way out by bullying the target, and claiming the "justice", accomplishing from the majority. the on the other hand, the weakness side of the those petit murderer seems to be a significant problems existed in most children. To become mature, youth must experience some heart-broken cases that make them realize the weight of life , they were too young to be mistakes.

The most terrifying revenge, where you see self-centred in humane beings.

Dean & Britta - Friday I'm In Love

Stolz und Vorurteil: am Raphael Perez Kunstwerk

Kammerflimmer Kollektief

no i don't miss yeah i don't

"The birds sing outside their bare melody They sing as if conscious of companionship, now alone as if to the pale blue sky;. They sing passionate songs adressed to one ear only and then stop." Virginia Woolf

"This is all sky, but other than home at the top are birds that hang upside down in several varieties wind course, you all can not exchange the sun is shining, but it's not the sun.. It is the moon. When in fact it was night? " Dietmar Dath

Heike Aumüller sits on the floor, making music, singing listen in a type of English Which can only be understood by people who. Those who look, who want to see music, do not see anything at all And they feel nothing. John Frisch fondle his double bass like Kate Bush did in her video to "Babooshka". But while Kate Bush did not play, does fresh while simultaneously playing around with it, winding himself around the instrument - 1-0 for the venerably aged jazz musician. On the other side sits Thomas Weber, bent over his guitar, occasionally operating the electronics in front of him, while his other hand is being played by the guitar. Again and again, it drags the other hand towards the instrument - it's as simple as that. The audience has to want to listen and not only see. Those who can see, see the art of Heike Aumüller Which graces the cover. What one sees there is strong and vulnerable at the same time. Anyone who has ever watched a Bruce Willis action movie will know the sentence that Willis - suddenly more than just muscles and smiles - utters to the obligatory child (or woman, anyway, something to rescue): "Of course I'm afraid."
What do we learn from this? Those who make themselves vulnerable become strong. The Chamber has made itself Kollektief strong, had made itself strong even before it merged into a band and then as a band, is even grew stronger. And more vulnerable. Where the music used to be beautiful, it now became powerful and momentous. Dietmar Dath speaks the truth when he suggests that one should listen to the music loud - because Thus it gains even more depth.

The chamber Kollektief is emotive and impassioned. It is also as lucid and precise as those moods Which Robert Musil (who is above suspicion of a being a Romanticist) called "daylight mysticism. The lyrics and the music want to be heard, they want to be explored, even suffered. Sound builds Which songs are made of sounds, and yet they 're no longer songs.

Wild Ling "is the trio's strongest and most vulnerable album to date. It is a solipsist, Which floats solitary in its own space, somewhere between the orbits of jazz, kraut rock, pop and bright This space is an earthly heaven, Which we are permitted to inhabit - if we only can hear, with our ears as well as our heads. Jörg Sundermeier

The xx (pronounced "the ex ex")[1] are an indie rock band from London, England, United Kingdom, formed in 2005.[2] They met while studying at Elliott School, notable for alumni including Hot Chip, Burial and Four Tet.[3] Despite starting as a four-piece outfit, The xx became a trio when their second guitarist and keyboardist Baria Qureshi left the group in late 2009.[4] In September 2010 they won the Barclaycard Mercury Prize.

Aaliyah to CocoRosie, Rihanna to The Cure, Missy Elliott to Chromatics, The Kills to Ginuwine, Pixies to Mariah Carey and Justin Timberlake to Tracy + the plastic

The xx's song "Intro" was extensively used on television: in an AT&T commercial featuring Apolo Anton Ohno; often during NBC's coverage of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, Canada;[14] during the series Cold Case; for the BBC News Newsnight coverage of the 2010 general election;[15], on Mercy ("The Last Thing I Said Was" episode) and also in Law & Order on the Dutch television network Net 5. "VCR" was featured in a Lie to Me episode. In episode 7 of the online BBC EastEnders spin-off E20 their cover of "Teardrops" was used. "Heart Skipped a Beat" was featured in a 2009 episode of 90210, as well as being the feature song for the March 2010 E4 advert for 90210. "Islands" was used in an episode of the Golden Globe-winning medical drama Grey's Anatomy. "Stars" was used in E4's youth drama Misfits in December 2009. "Crystalised" was used during the 13th episode of the 3rd season of The CW's acclaimed Gossip Girl TV show. "Infinity" was used in the 9th episode of the second season of HBO's Hung, and in the final (6th) episode of the first season of BBC's Lip Service. In January 2010, the xx performed in a 11-date sold-out tour in Scandinavia and Germany. A track mix of "VCR", "Shelter", "Intro", and "Crystalised" was also used in the Karl Lagerfeld Fall/Winter 2011 fashion show. Their music is currently being frequently used on school drama, Waterloo Road as well.
Second guitarist and keyboardist Baria Qureshi left the group in 2009. Initial reports stated that this was due to exhaustion, but the band later said they made this decision due to "personal differences".[16][17]

Late Night Alumni

Late Night Alumni is a US house group composed of Ryan Raddon (Kaskade), Finn Bjarnson, John Hancock, and vocalist Becky Jean Williams. They are primarily known for mixing dance music with strings and soft trance-like vocals from lead singer Becky Jean Williams.

Finn Bjarnson stumbled upon Becky Jean Williams in the summer of 2003. “I had just been given a local Christmas CD that I had produced a couple tracks for,” Finn recalls, “and as I was listening through the tracks, there she was! Her beautiful voice and style immediately struck me.” A couple of phone calls later and they were in the studio together for the first time. “I had worked up this song called ‘Empty Streets’ and wanted to try her voice out on it...” Finn continues, “and it took off from there!”
Finn had already been working in the studio with Ryan Raddon (aka Kaskade), and soon Finn, Ryan, and Becky formed Late Night Alumni. In 2004, Hed Kandi made an offer to license and release a full length Late Night Alumni album. “At that point,” Finn says, “I knew the band was not ready. We were missing an element.” That missing element turned out to be John Hancock; a talented local producer with whom Finn had been trying to “find an excuse” to work with for years. The band was complete and hard at work at the debut Late Night Alumni album; mixing electronic and organic elements for a unique brand of chill that is easily distinguishable in today’s down tempo house music scene.
Empty Streets was released in September, 2005. Around the same time, Hed Kandi was bought out by Ministry of Sound and the album got shelved. However, despite lack of support from the group's record label, it soon grew into an underground classic.
The single of the same name received massive support in both clubs and on radio, getting Top Ten Radio Play in the UK and U, and reaching #1 in Spain. “Empty Streets” has also been licensed to commercials including a spot for the Toyota IQ. In addition, more than a dozen dance compilations have licensed the track, and it remains the most popular and downloaded song on Tiesto’s “In Search Of Sunrise” compilation.

Crystal Castles - Crimewave

Crystal Castles is an experimental electronic music[6] band from Toronto, Ontario, consisting of producer Ethan Kath and vocalist Alice Glass.[7] Crystal Castles are known for their chaotic live shows and their melancholic lo-fi home productions. The duo released many vinyl EPs between 2006 and 2007 and eponymous albums in 2008 and 2010. The band's debut album was included in the "Top 50 Greatest Albums of the Decade" by NME Magazine, at number 39.[8]

Hope Sandoval - Suzanne

Hope Sandoval (born June 24, 1966) is an American singer-songwriter who is the lead singer for Mazzy Star and Hope Sandoval & the Warm Inventions.[1] During live performances, Sandoval prefers to sing in near darkness with only a dim backlight, playing the tambourine, harmonica, glockenspiel or shaker.[2] Cameras were not allowed during her recent tours, and she is reputed to be "a woman of very few words".[3] Some interpret Sandoval's self-consciousness as pretentious, and she has been criticized for being "willfully aloof", "hard to understand", "coy and child-like" and for "hiding behind her long, dark hair" during performances.[4][5]
Sandoval has toured and collaborated with other artists, but of late, she states, "I like being alone and free to sing on my own and the time and vibe to create something. I get really, really anxious if I have to go into the studio with someone I don't know already." She sang vocals on Massive Attack's "Paradise Circus" (2010) and admired the "beautiful tracks" the band sent her, but they did not "meet up" for their collaboration.[3]

Late Night Alumni - Rainy days

Some days must be dark
Some days must be dark and dreary.
The day is cold.
The day is cold and dark and dreary.

And it rains.
And the wind is never weary.

Ivy still clings to the wall.
At every gust the dead leaves fall.

And the day is dark.
And the day is dark and dreary.

Be still sad heart.
Oh be still and cease repining.

Behind the clouds
Is the sun still shining.

Thy fate is the fate of all.
Into life some rain must fall.

Some days must be dark
Some days must be dark and dreary.

No Christmas For Me

No, there won’t be Christmas for me this year
For the simple reason being you’re not here
There won’t be eggnogs by the cozy fire
There won’t be glasses of mulled wine either
There won’t even be a Christmas tree
’cause you’re not here to light it up with me
Oh, Santa honey, won’t you bring my baby back to me?
’cause i miss him, yes, i miss him oh so dearly
I haven’t sent him his Christmas card
’cause that would mean we really are apart
The Christmas stockings are as empty as my heart
I know you’re away doing something good
But just this once, baby, if you could
You know you can, and you know should
’cause Christmas won’t be Christmas…
without you
Two days to Christmas and i’m still waiting outside
Wishing upon a star that you’ll be coming home tonight
But it was cold, it was getting late
Sadly, i crept back into bed
But then i felt a soft kiss on my cheek
I opened my eyes, and there my baby was…
with me.
My baby came back for me
Merry Christmas, baby

Reeta :
Aside from the oral language, there are types of sign-languages are available to communicate, like signals, signs, and symbols . Use one picture directly may sent a clear message emerging in brain, which is more simple for different language users to comprehend. Others like gesture or else are more complicated that involves the culture factors.

Model:
Found in every culture, signals, signs, and symbols are examples of alternatives to speech communication. A signal , which is referenced to speech , intrudes upon the environment so that it is noticed. In contrast, a sign does not refer to speech because it displays a general message. Last, gestures, which are culturally defined, consist of actions.

The construction of nuclear family has gradually replaced the American families types, which composed of different racial, ethnic, class, and religious groups. From the analysis , nuclear families and child-less couples are individual present one third population, and the remaining population is composed of single people, unmarried people, and single families . The advanced research reveal the reason for single-parent families phenomenon are due to the changing attitude toward the divorce and unmarried mother. Furthermore, since the family’s size is getting smaller, the existences of familiar friends who are living together are another common phenomenon now in our society.

Model
Whereas one third of the population consists of the traditional nuclear family of two parents and their children, most Americans are either married couples with no children at home, single people, or single-parent households, many of whom have developed close friendships to replace extended family living at home

I stared at the ceiling to regain some feeling
The days mixed with let downs and come downs and put downs
There's words and their feelings but none of them sit well
You say that you're happy when no one believes you
So I just take my time
We're treading deep water and can't seem to come by any place
Where we can force ourselves to know
Where is the space in our heads for hopeful thoughts to grow
So now I hope you'll rush to my side
A wish can't just choose to fall down by the wayside

There's pills straws and bottles for all our bruised feelings

L'Étranger -- Albert Camus

the boat -- Nam Le

"My relationship with Vietnam is complex. For a long time I vowed I wouldn’t fall into writing ethnic stories, immigrant stories, etc. Then I realized that not only was I working against these expectations (market, self, literary, cultural), I was working against my kneejerk resistance to such expectations. How I see it now is no matter what or where I write about, I feel a responsibility to the subject matter. Not so much to get it right as to do it justice. Having personal history with a subject only complicates this — but not always, nor necessarily, in bad ways. I don’t completely understand my relationship to Vietnam as a writer. This book is a testament to the fact that I’m becoming more and more okay with that."

The book's final story, "The Boat," is another 'ethnic' Vietnamese tale about a harrowing 13-day journey in which boat people endure squalid conditions, survive a terrifying storm at sea, then almost die of thirst before finally reaching land. The protagonists in the five other stories, however, are a 14-year-old Colombian hit man, an elderly and ailing New York painter, an Australian teenager, an 8-year-old Japanese girl in Hiroshima in August 1945 and an American attorney visiting an Iranian friend in Tehran. That range of characters is unusual, but what is truly remarkable about these stories is that the language and tone of each one is perfectly suited to the characters and setting, even incorporating snatches of Colombian gangster slang, Vietnamese proverbs and wartime Japanese patriotic slogans. The stories are so different from one another it is hard to believe all seven are the work of a single author.

Of all these heartrending stories of pain and loss, the most moving and unforgettable in the collection is "Halflead Bay," which, at 69 pages, is also the longest story in the book. Rarely has one read such a sensitive and empathetic treatment of adolescent angst, all the more remarkable because the story's main character is shy and inarticulate. Eighteen-year-old Jamie experiences an unaccustomed moment in the limelight as his high school's sports hero, attracting the attention of the glamorous Alison Fischer. But Jamie knows that by encouraging her flirtation, he is setting himself up for a savage beating by her Neanderthal boyfriend. On a deeper level, the story deals with how Jamie and his younger brother (and by extension their fisherman father) struggle with the knowledge that their mother is dying of multiple sclerosis. As if this were not painful enough, the achingly beautiful bay where they live in Australia, which has provided the family with a good living for generations, is also dying, having been overfished, and is losing its port traffic to nearby Maroomba. The story is especially memorable for its richly poetic Australian vernacular, a language Nam Le clearly feels in his bones.

"If you only read that first story ("Love and Honor"), you might peg me as a very self-conscious writer," said Le on a visit to San Francisco. The impetus behind this tale seemingly drawn from his own life, he went on, came from a very different source - his desire to "examine the idea of authenticity and why we're all so quick to correlate text to biography."

Le gave his own first name to his character, he explained, "to not let myself off the hook. A lot of people assume that writing from your real life is easier. To me it's much more difficult. If something exists for me and is easily slottable into a story, that means perhaps I haven't looked adequately at whether it exists on the page."

Once past the initial story of the collection (Knopf; $22.95), readers will discover an author able to make a sweeping range of people, places, actions and states of feeling come to life vividly on the page. Few young writers are driven to step outside themselves and their own experiences so decisively. One of Le's stories depicts an aging New York painter's meeting with a daughter he hasn't seen for 18 years. Another explores an Australian boy's storm of sexual and violent emotions as his mother drifts toward death. "Hiroshima" takes place in a haunting calm before the bomb falls.

The protagonist of "Cartagena" is a teenage assassin in the drug-drenched neighborhoods of Medellín, Colombia. "I am no child, wet behind the ears," Juan Pablo Merendez insists, with the machismo cadence of a child who has grown up too fast. "I have now fourteen years and two months. I know how things work."

For Le, "minds and sensibilities that we would normally see only from the outside, in a simplistic and reductive way" are particularly compelling. "Juan Pablo is illiterate and uneducated," he said, "and he is also a heinous creature in many ways." The writer's challenge, met in full by the story, was "to make the case for the character with eloquence and dignity, and without being sociological or anthropological." Le grinned at his own flight of rhetoric and regrounded himself: "Let's give this guy a voice."

Seated at a table in full sun outside the Ferry Building and sipping pineapple juice, Le retraced his unlikely path to a widely heralded early success. Like his fictional namesake, he left Vietnam as an infant with a family forced to flee the country after the war. After a stay in a Malaysian refugee camp, where the 3-month-old Le fell ill, the family accepted an offer to immigrate to Australia.
"My parents took the first chance to get medical help," he said. "We would have gone to America if it weren't for me." Other members of Le's extended family immigrated to Southern California.

Le's parents were well-educated high achievers in Vietnam. His father was a teacher and top government aide. In Australia, they took factory jobs and got by at first with the help of donated food and clothing. His mother worked for the postal service and later became a chef. His father was the outreach director of a children's center and is now retired. Neither of Le's parents spoke much about their escape from Vietnam or the years his father spent in a re-education camp.

By then Le was reading voraciously - Auden, Tennyson, Rilke - and writing poetry. "That was the dream - to become a poet." Instead, feeling the pressure to succeed, he enrolled in law school and found a job with a huge corporate firm. His heart was never in it. After a year, Le took a loan, traveled for a year and began work on what would eventually become a 700-page novel about coming-of-age in Melbourne.

Le applied with the first five chapters of his abandoned novel and was accepted into the highly selective program. With teachers such as Marilynne Robinson, Ethan Canin and the late Frank Conroy and a community of fellow fiction writers and poets, Le flourished in Iowa. "When I came to the United States I became completely smitten with the short-story form. With all the techniques and methods and voices and styles available, it was not a no-brainer to test them out and test my own limitations

Le never foresaw his diverse stories ending up in book form. "There was good reason to believe these stories would never make their way into a collection," he said. "Publishers were more interested in linked stories or at least thematically congruous stories. That just wasn't where my mind and interests were."

"I'm trying to be OK with the intermittency," he said, "but it comes across - to myself, at least - as slackness. I was a slacker when I was at university.

Bonjour tristesse

written by Françoise Sagan

Adieu tristesse
Bonjour tristesse

School of Seven Bells - "Half Asleep"

Sometimes I go whole days listening, bored, half sleep
I won't say anything that's worth a thing to me
One day, suddenly, time took a turn that once felt so brief
I blinked to see polite ghosts fading quickly

What begins as an unguarded train of thought slowly can become
An addiction to the slumber of disconnection
And the resonance of memory that no longer has a shape
But keeps you numb through the hours till gone is another day

Be aware, my darling these things I say I mean
Are just traces of something I long to feel again
I see our time expand in the air almost forcibly
Spreading thinner till it dissolves completely

What begins as an unguarded train of thought slowly can become
An addiction to the slumber of disconnection
And the resonance of memory that no longer has a shape
But keeps you numb through the hours till gone is another day

Taiwan taekwondo athlete in Asian Games

all i am questioning about is the exact the reason of kicking out of the game, just because of the extra electronic sensors ?nothing happened even did the pre-check until in the middle of the competition, the committee stopped it and claimed :"something is wrong", does anyone believe that? if you were keeping watching the competition, i think no one will deny her skills (Yang Shu-chun).just in my opinion, i think the committee wasn't fair to judge the game.

Celi-Cela

Taiwan international cultural creative industry expo 10'

today i get up late that i didn't have enough time to appreciate all the masterpieces. but indeed there are still many precious, bright , amazing stuffs.

tribal art , kind of tribe style sculptures, fulling of funny, sluggish faces, really really attractive. (as a reference of Picasso style series, Africa period)

national palace museum, those impressive 2D interactive Ch'ing dynastic maids, combining with the modern material such as taiwan, new york, france, that represents another new face of new international era.
and there is another interesting section about the Buddhism in Ch'ing dynastic: lung tasung ching, a golden ink dharma treasure, which is the tibertan-language edition, hand copied in gold ink.(k'ang-hsi reign) it reminds me of the ex-trip to gansu province, mogao grottoes. i was really honored to be there and
to be able to see all the historical relics. languages are so fascinated to me, even the Sanskrit is. but it seems a lot different from the way i saw gansu, i really not fully understand anyway (this year i went some temples in changhua , the characters there are more similar with which in gangsu)

and at the end of the exhibition i saw something really creative style, a design company in hong kong, goods of desire. the blog site: www.god.com.hk/blog

well, there are too many good thing to be metioned, like some beautiful dresses design by yep, or many other thing , one thing i could say is that , the heart of designing is never dead! (rock!! XDDD)

Anna Ternheim - Halfway To Fivepoints

How to get to fivepoints
Make the wrong turn you know
If you're thinking of going
Think no more

Who's taking you down there
What's his name
Let me know
The price he offers
Round the corner of love

Halfway to fivepoints
Is as far as you come
Halfway with high hopes
Of love

So be careful, my love
Be careful, my girl
Be careful with love

How to get to fivepoints
How would I know
A place so distant
And so long ago

Halfway to fivepoint
Is as far as you come
Halfway with high hopes
Of love

hi,

Amanda Jenssen - For the sun

Anna Ternheim - What have I done

You are my everything
my head my heart my mind my wing
I could give all again
I'm never sure
of anything
with you

The jokes the laughs the teardrops too
The games the fun the travels too
Yes I won't do them all with you
All good things now come from you

I hope you feel the way I do
I hope you give yourself up too
I'm damned to feel the way I do
What have I done
to fall so hard
for you

You are my everything
My head and my heart my mind my wing
The past the present tomorrow too
I'll spend my final day
with you

I hope you feel the way I do
I hope you give yourself up too
I'm damned to feel the way I do
What have I done
to fall so hard
for you

I hope you feel the way I do
I hope you give yourself up too
I'm damned to feel the way I do
What have I done
to fall so hard
for you

Anna Ternheim -To be Gone

Karoline Eriksson:Anna“A voice that cuts like a knife and sings about those feelings that hurt, so beautiful it makes you want to cry“

Call me free today, if you see it my way
Time on my side as well as my mind is
It's not with you for sure, no not anymore
I intend to stay away for good

It's just a matter how I define
My state of mind

Today is a good day

Without you company
i have so many holes to fill
at least seven nights a week killing time
i still feel fine i guess, my life was a mess
When i shared it with you
I was lonely.
no i'm just alone

It's just a matter how i define
My state of mind.

Today is a good day

Just a scratch on my ego
I get up in the morning
With a good plan tomorrow
I'll be keeping my mind cold
Until the evening
When the hours forget me and
The waiting awaits me
and voices of madness
from my subconscious
singing songs of the sadness
Today is a good day.

sentimental october

**

some notion about the web.

copied from the blog writer: de snowshoe rabbit

i have to say that i agree with her point but on the facebook
these months i had lost myself in it and i really don't know why am i alway hanging on and have nothing left? for every word and  emotions , ups and downs , and seldom did the right thing i thought. maybe it's about the time to quit it.

the following is the writer 's statement

I fell off the face of the internet months and months ago. I've decided to come back. At least I think I have. I don't really know. Blogging involves directly confronting my semi-latent self-loathing on a regular basis. Besides, having a personal style blog always felt a little self involved/fucking stupid, what with the pouty poses, constant photos, and fretting over what I'm going to wear that day due to the fact that I feel the need to broadcast it to a bunch of virtual (literally) strangers. I am kind of boring sometimes. And I need to be boring sometimes. Ok. So.

What have I been doing all this time? Have I been naked thus not seeing any point in blogging? Do I hate the interwebs? In answer to these questions: I have not been naked, mostly. I kind of hate the internet. And as to what, pray tell, have I been up to in all these months: in short, I drank a looooot, got more manic than I already was, went to Portland, made some severely dubious substance/bipolar disorder induced decisions, did too many drugs, ended up in a "treatment facility" (rehab? mental institution?), did a lot of painting there, got medicated, and now, at long last, I'm back in the certifiably sane (?) world where I can once again possess pocket sized mirrors, drink wine and beer, have a cell phone, use scissors unsupervised, and eat marinated pork (aka pastor) tacos (my all time fav). Seriously. Eat a pastor taco at your local mexican joint as soon as possible. Put guac on it. Swoon. And drink a michelada with it. (lime juice and Tecate sometimes with a little tomato juice. Sound gross? It isn't.)

but i have to write something on the blog. just for the suck reason of preparing TOEFL!

9 inch nails & jess

i just can't take my eyes off her recently, for reason that i've been so busy and stressful that i need a beautiful thing to look at and release all the pressure. and after watching this video i suddenly cut off my hair , even i am surprised 'coz i'd planed to let grow of my hair . but it's ok excepted the naive look : D

Oh yeah, today is the first day of my representing time in meeting. i wasn't nervous though, however the hurried speaking made everyone felt that i was too nervous.after thinking over and over, i thought i must be slow down the tempo of my life style. actually knowing jesus had made me changing a lot about the sense of "being live". he doesn't really use to this society though, but he lives in it with his own style still and tries to change the circumstances that we are indifferent or incapable to change. but for me, i confess that i'm always grumbling about the way we live but i still have nothing change.how pity i am.

and today i replay the "evidence" again. i progress a lot thx god. and she is merely disappear now. now i am the man of who i am . : )

trait?

CEDRIC DIGGORY
Popular, intelligent, loyal, good looking. Some of the many things that describe you. You know what you want in life and how to achieve your goals. You put on a brave facade, but underneath are scared of the same things many others are. You strive to achieve your best and wont accept anything lower. You are extremely loyal to your friends and wouldn't do anything to hurt another person. Because you are seemingly good at everything, people will dislike you for being so 'perfect'.

a little quiz about the personality , however i am not familiar with the guy, this is really interesting. since the explanation is the with of mine, i won't haggle over it ha.

Luis Buñuel - Das Gespenst der Freiheit

communication

Although it can be argued that voice mail and e-mail are more efficient, and in many ways, more convenient, I prefer to communicate in person, or if that is not possible, by telephone . In my experience, face-to-face interaction are best for a number of reasons. In the first place, when you hear the speaker’s tone of voice, you are better able to judge the attitude and emotions that can be easily hidden in a written reply. In addition, the exchange is more immediate. Even instant messaging isn’t as fast as a verbal interaction in person or by telephone. E-mail seems efficient ,however, sometimes multiple messages over several days are requires to clarify the information that a short phone call would have taken original caller’s voice mail. Clearly, no real communication is possible in a situation that allows only one person to talk. Moreover, the body language and expression on the speaker’s face often communicate more than the words themselves. Research indicates that more than 80 percent of a message is nonverbal. The way that a speaker stands or sits can indicate interest or disagreement. The eye contact and the movement of the eyebrows and the mouth can actually communicate the opposite of the words that the speaker is saying. Finally, no technology has succeeded in duplicating a firm handshakes to close a deal, a hug to encourage a friend, or a kiss goodbye. Until e-mail and voice mail can provide the subtle communication, the immediate interaction, and the emotional satisfaction of a face-to-face conversation, complete with facial expression and gestures, I will prefer to talk instead of to type.
